~Plot Synopsis~
Dusty Rhoades, who is engaged to Virginia, daughter of Pat MacMurran, manufacturer of Pakro
automobiles, retires from racing to please his future father-in-law. Hellis, of the Ronado Car Co., who
is trying to secure an order from a South American dealer, ditches Dusty in a road challenge, and
MacMurran cancels the wedding; but Dusty elopes with Virginia in a racing car. Pursued by her
father, they are both arrested for speeding, and Dusty spends 2 days in jail. Later, he purchases a
Pakro car and enters the automobile race. Dusty and his mechanic, Jimmy Rodman, defeat the
Ronado entry and win the South American contract, and Dusty and Virginia are reconciled to
