~The Stronger Vow~
~Milton Sills & Geraldine Farrar~
~Plot Synopsis~
In this Romeo and Juliet-type story, Geraldine Ferrar plays a Spanish woman who is in love with a young
man (Milton Sills), but her family is at war with his family. The villainous Thomas Santschi murders the
woman's brother and tries to put the blame on her lover. But the killer's plans are spoiled by his vengeful
Apache assistant (Hassard Short). While the film itself was well-acted and directed, it suffered from
over-written titles which told too much about the characters and plot. Watching this silent movie was
sometimes like reading a story, accompanied with a few nice pictures.
