~Plot Synopsis~
Tricked into marrying a big, ungainly girl, Oswald Hardy, a student chiropractor, leaves his new wife,
Emma, the following morning. A year later Oswald returns, summoned by the news of an addition to
the family. A musical chairs sequence involving three babies and a cigar-smoking midget dressed in
swaddling clothes suggests to Oswald that he has been tricked again, but he forgives his wife and
friends and decides to stay home for a while.
