Anna Q. Nilsson was a Swedish-born silent film star whose career faded after she was seriously injured
when she was thrown from a horse in 1928.

The blond actress began making films in Hollywood in 1920. She starred in such silents as "The Whip,"
"The Lotus Eaters," "Adam's Rib" and "Blockade."

After being thrown from the horse, her next major role was as a Swedish mother in "The Farmer's
Daughter" (1947), starring Loretta Young.
