~A Daughter of the Wolf~
~L293-18: Elliott Dexter & Lila Lee~
~Plot Synopsis~
When "Wolf" Ainsworth (Clarence Geldart) prepares for his spring expedition to the United States to sell
furs smuggled in British Columbia, his daughter Delight (Lila Lee) begs to go along. In the city, Delight
falls in love with Robert Draly (Elliotte Dexter), recently jilted by his sweetheart for a wealthier man.
After Robert discovers that he loves Delight, his father dies and Robert leaves suddenly. His message fails
to reach Delight because Wolf, afraid of revenue officers, takes her North. They hide in a shack for a
year, while Robert searches. At a nearby camp, Roe (Jim Mason), a member of Wolf's gang, sees Robert.
Jealous of Delight's affection for him, Roe fights Robert, and although he is bested by Robert, the latter
sprains his ankle. The next day, Delight finds Robert nearly frozen, and with her dog's aid, drags him to
her shack. Wolf, convinced by Roe that Robert is a revenue officer, is about to kill him, when several
revenue officers burst in. Robert declares his love for Delight, and together they leave the North.
