| ~Plot Synopsis~ |
Believing his wife has been unfaithful, Captain Bronson, a sailor, takes Tim, their young son, leaves
San Francisco, and finally returns 20 years later. Mrs. Bronson, whom the captain has taught Tim to
hate, stows away on the ship to be with her son. Joining her on board is Mary Younger, daughter of a
woman whom Bronson once loved. Tim and Mary fall in love, Mrs. Bronson wins her husband's
forgiveness, and Captain Bronson, repenting his cruelty, sacrifices himself during a storm to save
Tim and Mary.
